Peyton's Place is the oldest canoe camp on the Illinois River and is located.  Featuring accommodations that fit
every budget and style, Peyton's Place offers air conditioned cottages for singles, couples or small families, a
large 48-bed lodge for groups, a RV park and a riverside campground for those who want to "rough it" in the
great outdoors.

Cottages
Peyton's Place offers air conditioned cottages with
kitchenettes for couples or small families.  These are small
and reasonably priced structures which afford a cozy and
private atmosphere for your time away from the river. Ideally
suited to those who do not enjoy tent camping or who need
more conventional facilities, these cottages offer an
alternative to "roughing it" with a capacity of up to four
persons.  Linens are furnished, but you will need your own
cooking and eating utensils.

$ 89.00 per night tax included (2-4 persons)

An apartment, offers accommodations for up to eight persons,
and is otherwise comparable to the cabins.

A beautiful group lodge is available for larger gatherings.  The
lodge includes 48 beds, a meeting room, a kitchen, a fireplace
and more, all on the banks of the beautiful, scenic Illinois
River. Cold weather is not a problem - you can enjoy the
fireplace and the eagles that nest on the bluff in the winter.  
The lodge is perfect for church groups, company events,
family gatherings or other types of social events where people
prefer to be together in a common environment.  It is the
perfect setting for larger groups who prefer not to tent camp or
be separated by smaller accommodation facilities.

1-20 people $360.00 minimum per night - 20+ people $18.00

Campground
Peyton's Place features a large and accommodating area for
tent camping which is accented by large, old growth trees
providing a respite from the midday sun as well as a buffer
from the wind.  Campsites feature picnic tables, raised
charcoal grills and easy access.  The large size of the
campground means that groups and individuals can use the
facilities without crowding.  And, the campground is adjacent
to the river's edge with a gravel and rock beach separating
the two.  A restroom/shower facility is located in the
campground between the tent camping area and the RV Park.

$15.00 per car per night up to 4 people (4+ people in car
$4.00 per person per night)
RV Park
Peyton's Place features a large and accommodating
RV Park for those who travel in self-contained living
quarters and need a place to hook up for a night or
several days (or longer).  The RV Park features 10
spaces with electrical, sewage and water connections.  
Evening shade is provided by the nearby scenic bluffs.

Base Rate $25.00 per night up to 4 people and 2 units
Maximum Occupancy 6 people and 4 units
A unit is equal to a RV Rig, vehicle, or tent
