Accommodations and Facilities

Peyton's Place is the oldest canoe camp on the Illinois River and features accommodations that fit every budget and style, Peyton's Place offers air conditioned cabins for singles, couples or small families, an apartment unit, a large 48-bed lodge for groups, a RV park, electric campsites, and primitive campsites for those who want to "rough it" in the great outdoors.

Camping Fees- Every person entering the camp ground must pay $9 per person per night. Children from ages 6-10 are $4 for each night, 5 and under are free. When making a RV or electric site reservations it only charges you for the site fee and 2 adults, if you have extra adults please add them or you will be asked to pay for them upon arrival.

Day Use- We are a private camp ground. We do allow day use but you must check in the office upon arrival and pay the day use fee.

Float Trip Reservations - Lodging, RV, and camping reservations do not include a float trip. Float trips must be booked separately for the day you would like to float. Float trips are only good for the day of reservation. Please disregard the checkout date and book for the date of float.

We provide linens (sheets & towels) which are provided by a commercial linen company; blankets will not be provided. We wanted to let you know so you can be prepared for your stay with us.
